Transportation

Welcome to the Northwestern Ontario Student Services Co-Operative for school bus transportation.  Our Co-Operative consists of four (4) school boards including the Keewatin-Patricia, Northwest Catholic, Kenora Catholic and Aurores boreales.   Transportation is also provided for numerous First Nation Communities.  On almost every school bus, you may find students from different schools or different boards as our transportation system is fully integrated.

The Co-Operative includes a very large geographic area, spanning from Upsala to the Manitoba border, north to Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Pickle Lake and Savant Lake and south to Sioux Narrows.   The Education Act allows school boards to provide transportation for students under certain conditions.  All Transportation is provided at the discretion of the Co-Operative, it is a privilege, not a right and must meet the requirements of each school board’s policy and procedures.  Transportation will be provided in the safest, most efficient, practical and economical way.  Our goal is to ensure students arrive on time and ready to learn.

We invite students and all stakeholders in the education community to co-operate with us in obtaining the common goal of a safe transportation system.

Thank you.
