EDUCATION QUALITY AND ACCOUNTABILITY OFFICE

OVERVIEW

Educational Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) data is one source of information that educators use to assess the strengths and weaknesses of our educational programs as reflected in student achievement. Schools also assess programs and student achievement based on a variety of indicators such as teacher assessment/evaluation, board assessments and teacher/principal observations.

At both the system and school levels achievement data is extensively reviewed and analyzed to identify strengths and weaknesses of student achievement in order to review and develop curriculum implementation, professional development and school/system improvement plans to address the needs of our students.

For more information, please refer to the EQAO result pages.
