New Dryden Elementary School

Welcome to the New Dryden Elementary School website!

A new JK-8 school is expected to open in September 2011 on the site currently occupied by Riverview Public School. This school will accommodate those students who are currently attending Pinewood PS and Riverview PS. As soon as safely possible after construction is complete, Riverview PS will be demolished and site improvements such as parking area and bus drop-off will be completed.

As the project moves from concept to design to construction to occupancy, we will continue to update the information that can be accessed by the links on this page. As of January 2010 we have received Milestone 2 approval from the Ministry of Education to enter into a contract with FinnWay Construction. Foundation work is expected to start in the spring of 2010.
