Welcome to the Golden Learning Centre.
The Golden Learning Centre is a modern and well maintained building with 10 classrooms, a full gymnasium with a stage, a library resource centre, a literacy resource centre, and a well equipped computer lab. Golden Learning Centre also houses the Balmertown Early Learning Centre and is a Best Starts hub.
At Golden Learning Centre, staff and students strive for excellence in all school programs through a strong focus on all literacy, numeracy, and character development. In this safe, nurturing environment each member of our school community works together with mutual respect. We work to meet the needs of our students so they can learn today in order to be happy and successful citizens tomorrow.
Parents have an important role to play in supporting their child’s learning and their involvement is encouraged. We believe that as parents become more involved in their child’s school life, the student’s success increases. Golden Learning Centre has an active School council which has promoted anti-bullying, student leadership, parent engagement, and student achievement.
Golden Learning Centre offers a wide array of activities to enhance our students’ academic, social, emotional, and physical well being. Our students have made us proud of their academic achievements and their enthusiastic participation in school activities.
