Did you Know?
FASD is an issue of concern for ALL populations! It affects people across all ethnicities, income and education levels.
50% - 75% of all pregnancies are unplanned and 16 % - 35% of ALL pregnancies are at risk of prenatal exposure to alcohol and possible brain damage.
Very few people exposed to alcohol during pregnancy exhibit the facial features, as facial features are apparent, “only if the mother drinks between the 18th-21st days of their pregnancy”. That’s only 3 weeks into the pregnancy, when most mothers don’t even realize they are pregnant!
