The Keewatin Patricia District School Board acknowledges that the lands that we live, work, and learn on are located on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg encompassing Treaties #3, #5, and #9, as well as unceded territory. We honour those lands and are committed to our relationships with the First Nations, Métis and Inuit. 

We acknowledge the Indigenous nations who have cared for and stewarded these lands from time immemorial. We recognize and deeply appreciate their historic connection to this place and honour their contributions in shaping and strengthening this community.
